Who am I?

My name is Nicolas, I am 40 years old, married and the father of two children. Graduate of the ISC and the DECF, I started my career working for Groupe Compagnie Bancaire / Paribas in their ALM operations. I then joined the Financial Office of the Groupe des Caisses d’Epargne prior to getting my MBA at the HEC in 2003-2004. In 2006, I joined Crédit Foncier, a subsidiary of the Caisses d’Epargne where I became a member of the executive committee in 2007 in charge of planning and leading negotiations. I then became the Assistant Executive Manager of Crédit Foncier in early 2010 in charge of finance and planning.

I joined Accuracy in April 2012, to create and develop a service plan designed for financial institutions
(banking and insurance).

Why Accuracy?

I have worked a total of 18 years in the banking sector, in very different branches and acquiring complimentary experience (finance, planning, strategy, organisation). When I met Accuracy partners and they presented the consultation offer, having explained their vision of transposing the Accuracy model to financial institutions, I was seduced by the business acumen behind this project, which would make it possible for me to capitalise on my cumulative experience and to develop it within a different environment. This ambition, as well as the positioning confirmed by figures and expertise, were decisive factors in my joining Accuracy.

My work

I have two general goals:

  • Externally, to develop the services on offer to financial institutions, whether they are banks or insurance companies, so that Accuracy can then provide customised solutions in a fast-track adaptation of their model.
  • Internally, to ensure that the expertise from the banking and insurance sector is shared with consultants in such a way as to further develop their expertise and to thus enrich the reach of the consulting business.

My favourite project

It is challenging to choose one mission over another one, when in fact the richness of a consultancy such as Accuracy comes from the real diversity of the circumstances of all the different clients we meet with. Indeed, my favourite project to date simply consists in developing bank and insurance clientele on behalf of Accuracy.

My advice to candidates

Prior to the interview, be sure that you come prepared, although not for the purpose of answering each and
every question, but rather these three core issues: what makes Accuracy different from other consulting firms? Am I ready to grow in this type of environment? Do I really want to join it?

Be yourself during the interview. And be sure to look at your interviewers, in order to make sure that you have satisfactorily answered these three questions.
