Who am I?

My name is Ghislain, 30 years old, married and father of a little girl. With a diploma from the ESC or Graduate school of commerce of Reims, I started my professional career working as a Credit Analyst for Oséo. After a brief experience in the organisational consulting side of the banking sector, I returned to the TS department of one of the Big Four firms where I stayed for over 4 years. During that time, I worked for industrial firms, investment funds and financial institutions. I joined Accuracy in January 2011.

Why Accuracy?

Joining a company like Accuracy after a dynamic experience in one of the Big Four demanded some careful considerations. The following are the reasons underlying my decision:

  • A desire to join a company with a strong sense of entrepreneurship and whose growth is based on the professionalism of its employees and the vision of its partners;
  • A desire to broaden my skills in the financial consulting field applied to all the high-stakes projects the company is involved in (litigation, restructuring, acquisitions…);
  • The balance which exists between the type of communication on an Accuracy project and the real satisfaction experienced by its employees in contributing to the challenge at hand.

My work

In view of my past experience, even if these show a tendency to diversify, the true nature of my missions are the transactional elements. I work on both those missions, which deal with industrial issues as well as issues specifically related to banking.

When collaborating on these missions, in close cooperation with the partner I work with, my role involved the management of the team and the client, ensuring both the latter’s satisfaction and the development of the collaborators.

Furthermore, my job also involves an active role in the management of the consultancy (recruiting).

My favourite project

What makes the position of a consultant so interesting at Accuracy is the variety of the missions and the need to start with a blank slate for each new mission. This constant repositioning undergirds the true added-value received by the client. I am at my best when I have the feeling that I have contributed the
greatest added-value to benefit the client and thus contributed to consolidating the Accuracy image.

My advice to candidates

Once the interview has been concluded, the person you have been speaking with will only be asking themselves one essential question: do I want to work with this person? Be yourself, and don’t try to show that you know everything. Ours is a field where each day confronts us with new challenges. The goal is not so much to evaluate your theoretical knowledge (even if it is very important) but rather to assess how you would react in the face of a new situation.
