Who am I?

I acquired my business experience in five different countries. I studied in Russia (Lomonosov University in Moscow), Germany (Eberhard-Karls-University in Tubingen), Israel (Hebrew University in Jerusalem), and in the United States (Madison Business School) and earned my doctorate in Economics in Switzerland (HSG St. Gallen). My career also began abroad. During my studies in Moscow, I gained useful work experience in the Corporate Finance division of a Big Four company. Following my German studies I decided on a position in M&A with a focus on transactions in the European mid-size market. I also expanded my Corporate Finance know-how with four years experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers Munich in Valuation and Strategy, where I led numerous advisory and valuation projects for national and international industrial and service companies, financial investors and attorneys. I am proud to be working as a Senior Manager in the Accuracy team since October 2009.

Why Accuracy?

Even the first things I heard about Accuracy were very impressive. It is an ambitious company, which has succeeded in implementing its growth strategy in just a few short years in the hard-fought and highly professional Financial Advisory Market of four European countries. The motto of the company is also perfect for me, "Giving numbers a meaning." After I got to know the capable, motivated and very friendly employees of Accuracy in person, I decided on this company very quickly.

My work

What is exciting about working for Accuracy is that our advisory service does not provide "island solutions." My professional focus is on the Valuation & Fairness Opinion and Forensics, Litigation & Arbitration divisions. For my operations and acquisitions work at Accuracy, however, it is not the limits of our business divisions which are decisive, but rather the interests of our clients. Most of my experience lies in the valuation of companies and intangible assets as well as business quantitative analyses. Therefore, I am present for each project or client discussion in which the client might benefit from my specialist or industry experience, whether in the context of a Due Diligence for an international trading company, or an acquisition discussion in connection with legal disputes resulting from a bankruptcy. Thus, my work is varied and challenging. It's never boring at Accuracy!

My favourite project

So far, I have found every project at Accuracy interesting. In recent months I have been busy with many challenging topics in which I have had to continually "think outside the box." In this I worked hand in hand with motivated and capable colleagues from various Accuracy offices, e.g. from France or the Netherlands. Something that was particularly gratifying was to recently observe how our client was able to come one step closer to its goal thanks to Accuracy's recommendations.

My advice to candidates

If you expect a working environment planned out to the last detail with hierarchical organisational structures, then Accuracy is certainly not the right company for you! If, regardless of the position sought, you want to think and act entrepreneurially, have an affinity for financial and business analyses, accounting and company valuation, and can impress us with your strong personality, then we look forward to receiving your application!

My hobbies

In my free time I spend a lot of time outdoors. In the winter that means I am on the slopes, and in the summer I often go to the numerous lakes near Munich, where I live. I also like to travel a bit further; travelling to distant countries is undoubtedly one of my passions.
