Who am I?

I have a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona and a DESS (3rd cycle) in Finance from Sciences Po, Paris. I lived in that city for 12 years, working first as a supervisor for the multi-national company Schlumberger and later for Arthur Andersen. I worked on all kinds of projects at Arthur Andersen, many of them in Asia and the United States. Through these projects I had a chance to work on auditing, due diligence, disputes and, to a lesser extent, valuations.

Why Accuracy?

I have always admired the "self-made man" and businessmen who swim against the tide, people who persist with an idea that others may consider crazy, until they are shown to be visionaries. The essence of Accuracy is, and always will be, totally enterprising. This is why I consider it a unique opportunity. It’s an innovative project in the disciplines I already know

My work

My everyday life is similar to that of Accuracy's consultants, as we try to ensure that everyone is involved in the firm's various areas of development. This includes project execution, of course, but also commercial, marketing and training tasks. This involvement is what I like best; working side by side with the rest of the team on jobs, proposals and opportunities, sharing successes and rough patches.

My favourite project

I greatly enjoyed one of my most recent projects (due diligence operations on a company in the auxiliary wine sector) as it involved combining several methodologies ranging from traditional auditing tests to complex analyses, to determine the margin per product by compiling scattered information. Also, it was an international project, which always adds an additional degree of complexity. As well as setting out the negotiating points for the transaction, our report intelligibly combined more management information than the company possessed, so it served as a real guide in the integration process. I think that having teams in various offices, capable of producing such a broad spectrum of analysis, is one of Accuracy's true strengths.

My advice to candidates

Before the interview, you need to get the clearest possible idea of what working at Accuracy means. If you find that idea appealing, the interview is the best time to make sure that it corresponds to reality. We are looking for intelligent and dynamic consultants, but also, strange as it may seem, people who are happy and have their feet on the ground.

My hobbies

I have many hobbies, or none, depending on which way you look at it. I love skiing, cooking, going to the theatre and the opera, getting to know new places, etc. I also like embarking on new challenges such as learning to windsurf or learning Italian. However, what I enjoy most are the things my children do and say.
