Who am I?

As a graduate from the Ecole Centrale in Paris, I always enjoyed mathematics and finance, which encouraged me to spend my third year at engineering school on a Masters course in financial mathematics at Harvard. I then went on to work for four years at Mazars in the insurance department and I took advantage of my newly acquired knowledge in this area to become an actuary. I joined Accuracy in December 2007, where I am now a manager.

Why Accuracy?

For me, choosing Accuracy was choosing a motivating job and a company that I already knew to be intellectually and technically stimulating. What I didn't know however, is that I would find much more at Accuracy such as increasingly interesting assignments, the possibility for each of us to be a part of the greater Accuracy project and to make our contribution to building something impressive. Moreover, I have been happy to find wonderful sincerity and openness in the professional relationships existing between all staff here, including the partners.

My work

My activities are many and varied, and always carried out in different situations. Some examples include the acquisition or disposal of companies, loss assessments during legal proceedings, assessments of companies for tax matters, etc… both in France and abroad! Although it is sometimes frustrating to regularly move from subject to subject and situation to situation, this variety nevertheless remains a great source of intellectual richness and new skills. In short, there is never any risk of you getting bored at Accuracy!

My favourite project

It would be difficult for me to mention a "favourite" project as each new assignment is very different and brings its own refreshing dose of self-fulfilment, surprises, and novelty. What I enjoy most in these projects is not only their variety, but also the intellectual challenge which they bring with them, not to mention innovation and creativeness (two factors which are always necessary), and teamwork, which is both stimulating and enjoyable.

My advice to candidates

Over and above all the usual advice given for recruitment interviews, I would advise applicants to take advantage of these interviews to ask themselves if they really have a good understanding of our business activities and if this is what they really want to do. Above all, I feel that it is important to leave the interview in a position to answer the all-important question, "Do I really want to work with the people I met today?" My experience has shown me that this is an essential aspect of a professional career. I would therefore strongly recommend that all applicants ask as many questions as they like during the interviews to ensure that they are well-placed to get their future career off on the right foot!

Anything to add?

I have found that Accuracy offers a rare combination of intensive technical content, varied and interesting situations, the possibility to really make a contribution to a company, and, above all, very friendly teammates. Today, this is a job which suits me perfectly and which really makes me eager to get up and go to work every day!
